Assembly Bill 825 – California Job Study: First Stakeholder Workshop on 6/9/26

The California ISO will hold a virtual public stakeholder workshop to discuss the California jobs study required by Assembly Bill 825 (AB 825) and related reporting required by California Public Utilities Code Section 345.6(f) on June 9, 2026. The study will assess the impacts of the transition of governance over regional energy markets from the ISO to a new independent regional organization.

The June 9, 2026, public workshop will focus on and seek stakeholder feedback and discussion on the following topics:

• Overview of AB 825 requirements for the job study and its objectives
• Review of the study’s scope and methodology
• Discussion of preliminary assumptions, inputs, and analytical approach
• Seeking stakeholder feedback and discussion

Stakeholder workshop materials will be available prior to the meeting on the Assembly Bill 825 – California job study meeting webpage. Please submit written comments on the June 9 workshop by visiting the Assembly Bill 825 meeting page linked above and complete the word document. Upon completion, please submit it to isostakeholderaffairs@caiso.com. The ISO is requesting comments by end of day June 23, 2026.
