Customer Interface for Resource Adequacy Technology Upgrade: Pre-Market Simulation Training Session on 11/12/26

The California ISO (ISO) will offer pre-market simulation training on the updated Customer Interface for Resource Adequacy (CIRA) application on Nov. 12, 2026, from  1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pacific Time. The training will help customers become familiar with the refreshed interface and navigation and prepare for market simulation.

The ISO is updating CIRA to provide a more modern and efficient user experience while continuing to support Resource Adequacy (RA) activities. The update refreshes the interface and navigation and does not change existing business or policy requirements.

Who should attend?

The primary audience for this training session is:

• Scheduling Coordinators for resources that provide RA
• Scheduling Coordinators for Load Serving Entities who manage RA
• Local Regulatory Authorities who view RA data in the CIRA application

What topics will be covered?

This training will include the following topics:

• Overview of the updated CIRA application
• Navigation and key features
• Market simulation preparation and resources
