Extended Day-Ahead Market Congestion Revenue Allocation Phase 2: Working group meeting on 11/9/26

The California ISO (ISO) will hold an upcoming hybrid, full day, Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) Congestion Revenue Allocation working group meeting on Nov 9, 2026. If you are interested in attending this meeting in person, please click here to register.

The meeting is a continuation of prior working group meetings discussing design concept #3, which introduces a common simultaneous feasibility test that informs the congestion revenue entitlements incorporating Congestion Revenue Rights (CRR) in the ISO balancing area and reserved transmission rights in the EDAM balancing area. 

The agenda is informed by stakeholder comments from the prior working group and will include a market-participant-led educational presentation and overview of transmission rights under the Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT), an overview of the Congestion Revenue Rights (CRR) process in the ISO balancing area and the simultaneous feasibility test modeling, a review and discussion of stakeholder comments, and continued discussion on the potential design elements, including eligible transmission rights within the common simultaneous feasibility test. 

Meeting materials and the comment template will be available prior to the working group session on the EDAM Congestion Revenue Allocation initiative webpage. The meeting will be recorded, and the video file will be posted after the meeting.
