Inter-Scheduling Coordinator Trades and Q&A Training Session on 8/27/26

The California ISO (ISO) will offer a training session on Inter-Scheduling Coordinator (SC) Trade functionality and recent enhancements on Aug. 27, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Pacific Time. The training will provide participants with an overview of key Inter-SC trade concepts and processes, followed by a Q&A session with subject-matter experts.

Who should attend?

This session is intended for Scheduling Coordinators (SCs) supporting Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM) and Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) participants outside the ISO Balancing Authority Area (BAA).

SCs within the California ISO BAA are also welcome to attend. As Inter-SC trade functionality is already available within the ISO BAA, this session will focus on enhancements that extend this capability to WEIM and EDAM participants.

This training will include the following topics:

• Overview of Inter-SC trade functionality

• How to submit Inter-SC trades

• Settlement of Inter-SC trades

• Q&A session with subject-matter experts
