Intertie Schedule Modeling Enhancements Initiative workshop on 6/15/26

The California ISO will host a virtual workshop on Intertie Schedule Modeling Enhancements Initiative on June 15, 2026, to continue stakeholder discussions and education on evaluating enhancements in modeling of intertie schedules on the CAISO balancing area interties.

The workshop seeks to continue the discussions from the prior workshop on potentially moving to Generation Aggregation Points (GAP-Tie) modeling of intertie schedules on the ISO balancing area interties and associated impacts and implications. This workshop will seek to recap and contextualize discussions in workshops to date, alignment in modeling of intertie schedules with congestion revenue rights at those locations, and introduction of a discussion on an associated topic of enhanced scheduling limit constraints. 

The presentation and other meeting materials will be available prior to the workshop on the Intertie schedule modeling enhancements initiative webpage. The workshop will be recorded, and the video file will be posted after the meeting. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
