MarketsPre Market-Sim Training: Inter-Scheduling Coordinator Trade on 7/7/26
The California ISO will offer a training session to provide an overview of Inter-Scheduling Coordinator (SC) Trade functionality and recent enhancements on July 7, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Pacific Time. The goal of the training is to provide participants with a walkthrough of Inter-SC trade processes, including trade submission and settlements.
Who should attend?
This session is intended for Scheduling Coordinators (SCs) supporting Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM) and Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) participants outside the California ISO Balancing Authority Area (BAA). As part of the EDAM Enhancements 2026 initiative, Inter-SC trade functionality will be extended to these participants, with the go-live date to be announced at a later date.
The purpose of this training is to prepare SCs for the Inter-SC trades market simulation activity scheduled to occur in July 2026.
SCs within the ISO BAA are also welcome to attend. As Inter-SC trade functionality is already available within the ISO BAA, this session will focus on enhancements that extend this capability to WEIM and EDAM participants.

The session will be recorded and posted to ISO Training Center > Markets and Operations within three business days.
