Training Update: Inter-Scheduling Coordinator Trades and Q&A Session on 8/27/26

The California ISO (ISO) will offer a training session on Inter-Scheduling Coordinator (SC) Trade functionality and recent enhancements on Aug. 27, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pacific Time. To support broader participation following market close, the session start time has been moved to 10 a.m. and expanded to a two-hour session. The training will include a Q&A with subject matter experts and a special guest speaker on energy marketing, contracts, and related industry considerations.

Who should attend?

This session is intended for Scheduling Coordinators (SCs) supporting Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM) and Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) participants outside the ISO Balancing Authority Area (BAA).

SCs within the California ISO BAA are also welcome to attend. As Inter-SC trade functionality is already available within the ISO BAA, this session will focus on enhancements that extend this capability to WEIM and EDAM participants.

• How to submit Inter-SC trades

• Settlement of Inter-SC trades

• Q&A session with subject-matter experts

• Special guest speaker presentation on energy marketing, contracts, and related industry topics
